Very good food in this old style place. Been here forever. The reason for 4 stars is dining area is small and tables needed to be wiped down. Other complaint is that they don't have meatball subs anymore! They were my favorite by far in the area.

Viola's is in a super shady neighborhood. They've been here for a long time. My first visit was almost 20 years ago. They are very dated, inside and outside. They close at 4:30 because the area is so bad. None of this matters! They really are the best sandwiches you'll ever have! I drive across the border from Canada just to get a $9 steak and cheese sub, as do other people I know, and it's totally worth it! You'll have to park on the street, and there's only 4 tables inside.

Best subs in town! Lived in Niagara Falls for 26 years, always loved Violas. Neighborhood has been in steep decline over the years along with the rest of the city, but it's worth it just to get a meatball or steak and cheese sub from here.

After recently moving to Niagara Falls NY from out-of-state, we were looking for places to get good food in our new neighborhood. I came across this gem just a few blocks away. Honestly, I would drive across town for these subs. They were excellent and the service was fantastic. Nice, personable and lovely workers make your sub right in front of you. My husband and I had different subs and they were both delicious. I will be back often!! A new favorite.

They do one thing, and they do it perfectly. Steak and Cheese subs made the old school way, making you grateful someone in the city still does it right. Head and shoulders above the competition, Viola's is the type of local eatery that makes being in The Falls worthwhile.
